Tae-Hwan Park /chapter 3 first draft/Tues11.am

My high school lunch time routine was always the same, I would go to the cafeteria and get my lunch and eat in front of the library where my friends were. Coca was one of the friends that used to eat lunch with me. I first met her when she first came to our school and sat in front of me in our freshman year of high school. She was a native of the country we were in, but lived outside for most of her life and just came back. She was slightly above average height with black hair that she normally dyed to a red, blonde, or brown color. When she laughed we would often tease her by saying she looked like a frog because her smile was so big it covered half of her face. Coca normally wore dark clothes but sometimes it seemed like she ran out of them when she washed them and all she was left with in her closet was some very colorful outfit that she bought for a party once and never wore again. I told her my opinion about her colorful clothes once and she got mad at me for mocking her fashion taste.
It was sometimes hard to talk to Coca because her interests weren't similar to most people. The only thing that Coca used to be interested in was food. Every time someone talked about food her eyes opened widely as if she was looking at a pot of gold. She loved food so much that nobody trusted her when she said a certain dish was delicious because everything that went into her mouth was delicious. She would spend most of her free time looking at pictures of food in the internet which was pretty funny. There were times when Coca refrained from eating too much because she was scared she would gain weight and I used to tease her after I saw her weight loss plan.
Most people who only saw Coca but never talked to her thought she was mean and cold however, all our lunch buddies who she really was. Once someone got to talked to her and when the ice was broken, the stranger soon realized she was a very funny girl with a big smile who loves food. Although she was silly at times she was apparently the most mature one in our lunch group. She would tell us if we were being immature or if we had to get something done. Over time she naturally took the role of a mother figure in our group. If I had to recommend one friend to a stranger I would recommend Coca because her silliness brings smiles on you and the people around her.

    5. I think that the writer chose to describe this person because she was very unique and although people might seem different on the outside, you should not judge from their outward appearances or other factors that are related to it
    6.
I want to know why she wore black clothes (if she had a reason) and I want to know what her other interests were that were different from others
